Stewardship

As a follower of Jesus we are called to use the gifts and talents, time and treasures God has given to us to further the work of the kingdom of God.

EVANGELISM

Invite others to come a see and hear the Good News.  At the middle of the word evangelism is the word ANGEL.  An angel is a messenger for God.  As a disciple of Jesus we are tasked to go and tell (be a messenger) others of the Good News which God has given to all through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.

WORSHIP

From the beginning of time God has created us to live in community.  It is in the community of faith where God is given praise and thanksgiving for all He grants us in this life and the life to come.  In the community of the church we hear the Word of God proclaimed to us, and we see His Visible Words of grace granted in Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.  Weekly worship is important because it is here we are forgiven what we have done and did not do, and strengthened to go and follow God's desire for us in the coming days.

Social Ministry

Throughout time God has called us to look at for all of His creation, especially those most vulnerable, the orphan, the widow, the sick, the elderly, the hungry, the stranger, the imprisoned, etc.  As we reach out to our neighbor we realize it is there we love and serve God.  Jesus teaches in Matthew 25, when you did it to the least of these you did it to me.  Helping one's neighbor is done through bringing in gifts to be share, such as canned goods, working in a shop kitchen, such as Foundation Dinners, or advocating for the least in society to bring about community/governmental help.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

In order to better understand what a faith-filled life is about we study the Word of God.  Study is done through Sunday Church School, various Bible studies - held at different times of the year, also in Women's Circle meetings, etc.
